Path of Building: Why Your Weapon May Not Have Culling Strike
The Importance of Culling Strike
Culling Strike is a powerful support gem that grants your attacks a chance to instantly kill enemies below a certain life threshold. This can be a major damage boost for any build that relies on physical damage, as it allows you to quickly clear out trash mobs and focus on elite enemies.
Why Is My Weapon Missing Culling Strike?
If you're using Path of Building to plan your build and you notice that your weapon does not have Culling Strike, it's likely because you have not yet added the gem to your setup. Culling Strike is not a default gem, so you will need to manually add it to your skill bar. To add Culling Strike to your weapon, simply open the skill bar and drag the Culling Strike gem onto the weapon. Once the gem is added, it will automatically begin to grant its bonus to your attacks.
Additional Considerations
It's important to note that Culling Strike only works on enemies that are below a certain life threshold. This threshold is determined by the level of the gem, so be sure to level up Culling Strike as much as possible to increase its effectiveness. Additionally, Culling Strike cannot be used with other support gems that grant a chance to instantly kill enemies, such as Assassination or Maim. If you are using one of these other gems, you will need to choose between them and Culling Strike.
